Gloria C. Bent, a New York City-based Registered Dietitian, is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a past Diversity Leader of EatRight.org. She has a Doctorate in Christian Counseling & Psychology and has worked in various roles, including Associate Director and Lead Clinical Dietitian. Bent is passionate about helping people change their unhealthy behaviors and become healthy citizens while preserving their cultural cuisines.
Anta Khouma, a dedicated advocate for vulnerable groups, has dedicated her career to improving social equity and healthcare systems in Senegal. Through her research and work, she has contributed to inclusive education and strengthened the capacities of young disabled patients. Khouma’s passion for knowledge and helping others led her to organize the first health fair in Gambia and Senegal, providing essential supplies and medical assistance to over 400 individuals.
Dudu Angel Mathebula, a South African entrepreneur, founded Glory of Hope Beauty Studio, a travel company, and a charitable organization. The foundation provides essential resources to children in need.
Sandy Lee, a board-certified cosmetologist and ordained pastor, aims to save lives and win souls for the Kingdom of God. She expresses gratitude to Dr. Gloria Bent for her support and guidance.
Doctor Sandra Nembhard, FNP, Board Certified, PHD. Medical Director/ Organizer for Health & Wellness. Mission- Providing free screening, Physical assessment/Exam, nutritional care and education to individuals who may have lack of access to proper healthcare. This will empower all to live healthier lives. Dr. Nembhard is a Jamaican born, grew up in New York and attended high school and university before relocated to North Carolina where she is presently practicing. To make a meaningful impact, we implement a variety of programs each quarter: • Training Sessions: • 6 sessions for trainers in pastry-making, soap-making, and nutritional education. • Community Engagement: • 10 educational talks per country. • 1 community mobilization initiative. • 2 health fairs. • Targeted Outreach: • 30 home visits. • 30 mental health classes. • Awareness and Advocacy: • Awareness courses and community forums focused on mental health.
